Power Pistons

Terry Choy designed Power Pistons as a futuristic land-speed-record racer powered by a fictional 6.0-liter V12, built specifically to run well on Hot Wheels track sets after debuting in the 1995 Model Series. A 2015 retool fixed the canopy in place, removed its side mirrors, and moved the exhaust from vertical dual pipes to side-mounted triple pipes integrated into the interior piece. It also appeared as car #21 in the Highway 35 World Race storyline, driven by Esmeralda Sanchez of the Road Beasts team.
