Race Truck

This truck, cataloged here as Race Truck, uses the Bywayman casting based on a 1973 Chevrolet Silverado C/K 20 pickup and shares its underlying tooling with the Baja Breaker. The casting debuted in the 1979 Speedway Specials series and stayed in production for over two decades, with a 1980 variant modified with a plastic snowplow and renamed Super Scraper. Over the years the same tooling has worn several names, including Pavement Pounder, Power Plower, and Path Beater, and it appeared in the 1995 Racing Metals Series as well as the Real Riders series of the 1980s.
