Road Rocket

Terry Choy designed the Road Rocket for 1996 First Editions as an open-cockpit racer inspired by World Sportscar Championship prototypes, with an articulated lid that doubles as an engine cover and cooling duct for its large flat-ten. Internally the casting had been called Rocket Shot before release, and its lid was fused into a one-piece body during a 2015 retool. It later appeared as car #12 in the Highway 35 World Race storyline, driven by Bart 'Shrimp' Scampi of the Street Breed team.
