Rolls Royce Phantom II
Designed by Larry Wood and produced from 1984 to 1995, this casting represents the Rolls-Royce Phantom II, the third and last of Rolls-Royce's 40/50 hp models, introduced in 1929 with a refined 7.7-liter pushrod-OHV straight-six mounted directly to a 4-speed manual gearbox. Since Rolls-Royce supplied only the chassis and mechanicals, bodies came from outside coachbuilders such as Park Ward, Mulliner, and Hooper; the diecast model appears to be based specifically on the 1931 Phantom II Continental Henley Roadster and features a removable roof and covered spare tires. This version was issued in the 1995 Treasure Hunts series.
