Speed Machine

First released as Mantis in 1970 with an opening canopy and exposed engine, this Ira Gilford casting was renamed Double Vision in 1973 with solid louvers replacing the exposed engine, then Speed Seeker from 1984-87, and finally Speed Machine after a nine-year gap, with the latest version featuring a fixed, non-opening canopy.
