Street Roader

The Street Roader is an original Larry Wood design based on a modified 1988 Suzuki Samurai, and it gained wider recognition through appearances in the Heroes on Hot Wheels television series, where it was driven by characters Michael Valiant, Henry 'Pops' Valiant, and Quincy. Early castings had 'SUZUKI' molded into the front grille, a detail removed from the tooling in mid-to-late 1995. It debuted in 1989 as part of the Trailbusters collection and went on to appear in Automagic III color-changing releases, the 1995 Beach Patrol mainline run, and the 1999 Final Run series.
