Surfin' S'Cool Bus

An original design loosely modeled on a Crown Supercoach, the Surfin' School Bus debuted in 2001 out of the El Segundo studio. A 2021 retool added plastic cladding that reads as extra windows and switched the build from tab-post to post-post construction, shrinking the casting slightly. A larger, all-plastic edition was produced exclusively for McDonald's promotions in parts of Asia and the Middle East.
