Talbot Lago

The Talbot Lago casting reproduces the 1937 Talbot-Lago T150C SS, famous for the teardrop bodywork designed by Giuseppe Figoni of the coachbuilder Figoni et Falaschi. Hot Wheels introduced it in 1988 as part of the Classics series in burgundy and white on a ZAMAC chassis, and the 1997 mainline release later became one of the tougher 1990s castings to find, reportedly fetching over $250 among collectors. It also appeared in FAO Schwarz exclusives through the late 1990s, the 1995 Pearl Driver series, and a 60th Anniversary European Classics two-pack in 1997.
