Tank Truck

The Tank Truck casting is based on a Peterbilt 377 with a newer-style cab and a plastic fuel tank rather than metal, distinct from the separate Peterbilt Tank Truck model. It debuted in 1992 as a mainline release in red with a chrome plastic tank and Unocal '76' branding, and appeared through the decade with changing color schemes and tampo designs including Gulf and hazardous-waste graphics. In 1995 it turned up in the Photo Finish Series in Spectraflame light blue with Mount Rushmore artwork, and it closed out the 1990s with a metallic gold Final Run edition.
