Twang Thang

Twang Thang pairs a hot-rod body with oversized guitars mounted on its sides, its name playing on the twang of a plucked guitar string. Before settling on its final name the casting was known internally as Guitar Car and, as a nod to the band, Grateful Tread. It debuted among the new castings in the 1996 First Editions lineup before appearing here in the 1997 Rockin' Rods Series.
