Vampyra

Vampyra debuted in 1986 as part of the Speed Demons lineup, one of eight demon-themed castings styled around a vampire-bat silhouette that gives the hot rod its distinctive winged, fanged look. It ran on and off through the following decades, and in 2015 the tooling was hollowed out at the rear to cut weight and cost. Beyond its original purple Speed Demons run, it has resurfaced in Color FX, Hot Hubs, Fright Cars, Thrill Racers, and Color Shifters releases, often paired with temperature-sensitive paint.
